Day Outing Saturday and Sunday Afternoon

April 30: Saturday we went to World's Fair Park in d-town Knoxville. I didn't get photos, but Hettie got some good ones. I wasn't too fond of the Sunsphere (Height!). Glad I saw it though and everyone else enjoyed. Here's link: http://worldsfairpark.org/

After we went to a nearbby playground which kiddos enjoyed. (Pic of Ryan there).

After, we walked to Market Square for lunch at The Tomato Head: http://thetomatohead.com/
There was an art festival going on in Market Square. Anyway, we did walk there from World's Fair Park rather than driving there and parking. Holli and Herbert and Ellie met us there. They were able to find fairly nearby parking.

There was a bit of rain after we had lunch and started heading back to the car. We made a stop at Knoxville Chocolate Co. Yum! http://knoxchox.com/

Back to the house and H&H, Ellie, and Jojo came over for dinner. Red beans and & I started with help from Sean (actually he got the beans going), and then in the p.m. I had help from Andrew and Hailey with seasoning, etc. Sean did rice later and H&H did salad. Hettie was working that afternoon. my back was bothering me that late afternoon, so ALL help with dinner I had earlier offered to make, was greatly appreciated!

May 1: Sunday, church, Arby's curly fries and Pepsi, trip to Norris Dam Lake. Sean got a few pics there. It was a quick stop, but so nice to see! http://tnstateparks.com/parks/about/norris-dam

Afternoon on the deck at the house. Hettie worked that afternoon, but did get some on-call time!

May 2: And off to the airport early morning Monday. Sad to say goodbyes. I hope to go back sooner than later!

Here are photos I got:

Ryan at the playground/park. Only pic I got there! I must say I was enjoyed my sit on the bench with Hettie, Sean, and Addison! Beautiful day!

Lunch at Tomato Head.

Note: Hettie was there too, sitting in the corner near Herbert, and up and down with kiddos.

Sunday afternoon at the house.

Children's Museum of Oak Ridge and Ry opens a few b-day gifts

On the 29th of April (Ryan's birthday!) we went to the Children's Museum of Oak Ridge, http://childrensmuseumofoakridge.org/, had dinner at Chesapeake's Seafood House http://www.chesapeakes.com/ in downtown Knoxville (crab and lobster being Ryan's b-day dinner request). No photos of dinner here, but was a good dinner and fun evening. Later that night Holli, Herbert, Jojo (Deirdre's maid of honor in her wedding and long time family friend) and Ellie their dog https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malinois_dog came to the house and Ryan opened a few b-day gifts from us. Here are museum pics and Ryan opening a few b-day presents.
